Z just told me that her father and mother spent one night outside yesterday, and probably another night today in the rain..the earth is still shaking now...

I also read a lot of reports about the earthquake.
Now all the people in China has been working to save the people in epicenter. The first army has been there and reported that the situation is very very urgent. The roads and bridges are totally destroyed, there is no water, no food. Even one town in the montainous area has more than 100 000 people....
Because of the rain, it's very difficult to drop stuffs by airplane. Even this, some army has been given the order that no matter what effort will cost, save the people there is their only task.

 A lot of taxi drivers, who are always said been greed are driving from Chengdu to Dujiangyan day after night to send food and water there...

I talked with zhiying and we think we are not going to the dinner in 15th, and then we can denote more money to Sichuan. Hi D
Firstly, I would like to express my thanks to you and all your friends. You gave us a chance to know and to share more about your experience. If possible, please also transfer my thanks to Rose, who made me know the way of love and being loved.

I'm sorry I didn't say anything about the earthquake in China during the dinner. Actually, at the beginning, I'm not sure why I want so much to donate some money, although I know my personal ability is very very limited. But along with seeing so many reports and talk with all my friends (surely include you and your friends), the purpose of the donation is becoming clear: for me, donation is just a sign, which can bring hope to the people who are suffering. No matter the people who are burying in the destroyed cities, who lost their family or who are waiting for the rescue, the most important thing is hope.  I wish what I do and what all the people do can bring them more hope to be alive and to reconstruct their home.
Let's do our best together to make them know that they are loved by so many people no matter countries, races...
